The 2010 spring session is now enrolling! Classes begin March 8th. Contact Van as soon as possible to register. All classes are limited to 12 students and they always fill up fast.
All classes run once a week for six weeks. The session costs $180 and payment plans are okay. We go from 7:00pm-10:30pm.

You will learn to:
- Let go, give yourself permission to explore your creativity and imagination on another level.
- Really connect to other actors with your heart, not your mind. How to stop overanalyzing and let your emotions flow.
- How to get to the heart of a scene and understand what the character wants and why.
- Understand the commitments you need to make to make it in this business and challenging yourself to rise to the occasion.
We'll work on this and a lot more through auditioning, scenework, and monologues. All your work is taped and discussed in class.

is what covered in weekly classes: - Working to find what you need in order to push yourself harder and harder (and using more of your creativity to do that). - How to get and keep an agent interested in you (how to work the system). - Auditioning: cold scenes, prepared scenes, monologues, confidence, trusting your instincts, loving the process). - Getting past your blocks and strengthening your strong points. - Understanding text and character on a deeper level. You've got to know why you're saying what you're saying. - Being a more fully expressive performer. Going past where you've gone before. - Working from your heart, not your head. - Everything you need to know to work on a set. - Building your confidence and being more certain in your work. - What Casting Directors are looking for in the Audition Room. - What you need to do to take the business aspect of your career to another level. - Having fun with the whole process; it's the process that will take you where you want to go. Several times each year, Van offers a free on-camera workshop for new students as well as several weekend intensive courses. One of these is The MASTERY.
